:dunno: I have a urgent question > I don't know what to do . I have white worms on my glass in my tank with my baby discus.I don't know if they are parasitic in nature or what. i have never notice them before .They've recently showed up.

:fish: It could be planaria, they are not parasitic and your baby discus might eat them at some point. :D
They are usually found in tanks which are overfed, more than likely since you have babies that need frequent feeds. :D
Increased gravel cleaning could help by removing the worms

:fish: Oh and hiya and welcome, :D

Yep sounds like planaria...

...they are harmless but could indicate problems with the tank - overfeeding as said above or lack of maintenance/water changes

try a search on planaria in here for more info -_-

:)

Planaria and lots of fry often go hand in hand sometimes with all of the extra feeding..My fish love to munch on them when they see them. Not a huge worry, but a sign to siphon more. :)

Welcome to the forums! :)

I freaked when I first saw them too. I didn't used to vacuum the gravel much since I have plants, but I do now, since the onset of them crawling all over the tank................... They aren't harmful, but kinda "ewwy".
