White stuff

I have this white stringy stuff growing in my tank what is it and how do i get rid of it

Growing in the tank? Is it on the glass? Just little strings? May be just some sort of algae...actually brown. Explain further if you could.

Hi freshmike
This stuff is growing everywhere but not on the glass long thin stringy stuff. I did a 20% water change yesterday and still the stuffs there. Also the water has gone murky.

Please help

PS The fish seem fine 6 Zebra Danios.
