THere are small white spots on 3 of my fish including a rainbow cihclid, new tiger barb, and a mickey mouse platy. I don't know what to do because it is late and doubt any fish stores are open. Do they have a chance to live unitl morning???
Please help!!!

20g tank
3 new tiger barbs
1 opaline guarami
1 rainbow cichlid
1 pleco
1 platy
3 new small black fish
1 new fish with a mohawk (sorry dont know the name)

I cant get any medicine tonight because it is so late...
will they live until morining when i can get meds from my lfs?

Ok thanks Phantom

I was scared because my rainbow is just sitting on the bottom of the tank and hes not eating or anything. The tiger barb is the worst though. He looks like he will die any minute. I dont think he is the same as the rianbow though because his face is all inflamed??? :( I dont know what to do.

How long have they been infected? It sounds like its been a while. In the starting there are just white spots and there wont be the other symptoms mentioned.

P.T.

They looked fine this morning. I didnt notice anything until tonight. Most of my fish appear sluggish but that might just be because its night time. Im not sure though. THe spots on the rainbow are small and they look like they are less concentrated on my other fish. Also, my tiger barb died even though he looked perfect this morning.

If they've been infected for a while you're probably going to see white spots all over them soon. They're already there... they just aren't visible yet.

for treatment of ich, you can use ick clear by jungle which works good.
