I have a problem with some of my Tropheus, some have large white spots almost the size of a match head and they stick out from the fishes bodies.

The fish otherwise seem fine and are eating well.

All water parameters are fine
Nitrite = 0
Ammonia =0
Nitrate <10
PH 7.8

I do a 20% water change each week

I have treated with Protozin but this had no effect.

Anyone got any suggestions please.

In the pic below the spots are visible on the fish to the right of the picture, sorry its a bit out of focus Trophs dont stay still for long.

looks like something viral rather than bacterial. some fish grow small tumours on their skin and they dont bother them at all. lymphocystis is a good example of this also called cauliflower disease.
