A search on this board will turn up lots of advice on Ich
Just a note, you need to be sure that your fish are Ok about salt before adding it...Corys and Loaches are not.
I had a mild outbreak a month ago, which I thankfully caught early. Because I have scaleless fish in the tank (Corys, Loaches, Khulis and an aquatic frog) I could not add salt (since it burns their skin) and I also had to half dose the medication.
Be sure to read the instructions on the meds, make sure they are safe for all of your fish, and take care when using salt. The temperature increase I will go along with.
As a side note, a couple of my Cardinals lost finnage during the Ich so I added Melafix. It cured the fin loss, but unfortunately killed a Betta (who had otherwise escaped the white spot) I only found out in retrospect that Melafix may harm Betta

I had no other losses from the Ich outbreak, but we need to bear in mind that Ich is like a common cold to fish...it is not always the killer, the secondary infections are when the immune systems are already compromised by Ich.
Good luck!
