White Spot

Hi i have a marine tank and the last few weeks i have notice there is some white spot on some of the fish. Please help me to get rid of it

what fish are they?

are they kept in a reef tank with corals?

the most effective way is to treat in a QT tank with copper and allow a fallow period for the main tank.

Other ways are increase feeding and feed several times a day

I think you have a water problem. From both of your post regarding the cut over of the filter and now the white spot on the fish. I found that out with my system. When I switched from cannister filter to a sump I had an algea outbreak. To this day I still run my Cannister filter once in a while on top of my sump. The fish are probably stressed out. I would make a good water change and turn your external filter back on after a good cleaning and see if your tank stabilize.

There are many kinds of white spotted fish, among them are Whitespotted Puffer, Ichthyophthirius and Comet.
