white spot...

hello everybody!! newbie need some help...just added my first fish, sunset mollies, in my juwel rio 125 yesterday. i have just noticed one of the five has a few white spots, whats the quickest way i can help?? thanks

If all you have are the mollies then the most effective treatment is salt and high temperature. Add aquarium salt every 12 hours at a rate of 1 level teaspoon per gallon for three doses to give you .3% then turn the temperature slowly up to 80f. Add extra air if you havent got any going in and do a gravel vac of 40% every 3 days and remember to add back the salt you take out, but dont add salt if its for evaporation.
This level of salt needs to be kept for 2 weeks and all live plants taken out.

Alternatively you can get a whitespot med, turn up the heat and turn off the over head light and hope for the best.
