I have a pregnant guppy who is about to drop her babies any day, I noticed this morning that there is a tiny white spot on her lip. Looks like grain of salt so i am guessing ick. My question is should i treat her now or wait until she has the fry? If i start treatment and she has the fry will the treatment kill them or hurt them? I am thinking of taking her out of the community and into a hospital tank or should i treat the entire tank if its ick? I have black skirt tetras, head and tail light tetras, 2 swords, 3 guppies in tank, also a proco. Will the ick treatment hurt any of these guys? Any help would be great. Sorry for all of the questions.

It sounds unusual that a single white spot is a sign of ick. It is more likely to be some sort of ulcer or an fungal infection. What I would do is see if anything else appears, and maybe add some Liquisil in the tank as a general precaution.
