white spot on nose of clown loach

Hello,

I have a clown loach with a whitish spot near the tip of its nose. Not in the mouth. I am wondering what it is? I have him in a 46 bow with 3 other loaches and some angels. They were moved into this new tank from a 75 yesterday. Same water, same filters, same gravel, etc......

Am wondering what it could be?

He could have injured himself fleeing from the net while you were trying to move him. I'd just watch it and make sure that it dosen't change for the worse.

I had a similiar problem with one of my Red Line Torpedo barbs. The spot appeared the day after I bought him from the shop. I kept an eye on him for a while and notice the spot (on his nose) would grow for 2 days, then burst. Then the day after it would grow again, the burst again! I thought this could be ICK even though there was only 1 spot on 1 fish so I started ICK treatment. This didn't help.

Then I bought some Myxazin (for bacterial infections). After a day or so the spot had vanished and I haven't seen it since.
