White Snail Things On The Glass...

I noticed on the glass today of my tank there is what looks to be white almost flat very very tiny snail looking things. They seem to go in and out of the "shells" and might consist of hairs. anyone know what they are or if there any concern or not?

Tiny feather dusters. Good filter feeders but a pain to look at. I scrape mine off my viewing glass but leave them on the back glass

I scrape all 4sides of my tank =D.

ok as long as there nothing bad. because i noticed i have a few what look like white puff balls on some of the rocks with a hole directly in the middle of them. are these the same things?

They could be small tunicates possibly.... do you think you could get any photos?
