Hi I’m new to this forum but would like some advice on one of my Clown Loach. He has developed white patches on his back. At first I thought it was white spot and completed treatment but it’s made no difference. He the only fish affected by and wondered if anyone has come across this before. I have attached a pic of the fish.
Regards
Craig

Thanks for your reply don’t think it’s a flesh wound as it got bigger and it doesn’t seem to be affecting him in any way....if it is bacterial what would you suggest for a treatment?

Any chance he could have taken a nap upside down on the heater? - or under it. A wound was my first thought and clown loach do get themselves into some very weird positions.

My heater has a protective plastic cage around it so don’t think that will be the case....and yes they sleep in weird positions one of them has taken to laying upside down at the front of the tank....wife had to be convinced it wasnt dead :)
