White Maggot

hello i have something in my tank that looks like a white maggot i took it out it looks like a white maggot only its got little legs and its about 4mm long. i oviously threw it down the toilet just wondering what it was.

I dont know what it could have been, maybe a pic would have helped. But as long as theyres not more, I wouldnt worry...... It could have been something that fell. Could have been some some kind of paricitic worm.

Did it have a forked tail.
Check the fish for red sores or puncture wounds.
And check the gill area.

i doubt it was a maggot as they dont have legs lol and they cant live underwater too long. how long was it in there?
