white lip

Hi

As the title suggests I have one of my tiger barbs with a white top lip. It doesnt look fluffy as such but it has made the lip look bigger that normal. its like it has put on white lipstick real heavy!!

the barb has been like this for a week or so now and there are no other symptons at all.

Anyone?

sounds like some sort of fungal or maybe bacterial infection can you get a pic of the fish??

It could be mouth rot, in which case i think its internal bacteria, but it could also be fungus too which is probably more likely- just use some anti fungus meds on him and he should be ok

have now got photobucket back up and running but camera battery ran out trying to get a shot of the fish. They just will not stop and smile for the camera!!
