White fuzz in tank

[Ima Newbie]

I have a white fuzz all over everything in my 55 gal tank. Its like little white strings attacthed to everything. It isnt on the walls of the tank but it is all over the decorations and gravel. Is it alge or is it a fugus? Im a little worried.
