Does anyone know if white female Bettas get stripes like the colored female Bettas?

I posted pics of mine HERE. My White one has never had any stripes which makes me want to ask.

hiya, well i have 2 female bettas, 1 red and 1 blue/purple.

wen i 1st got them they had these stripes, identical 2 ur pic of her.

how long have u had her ? if its only been a few days then i wudnt worry abt it, as it took mine 2 weeks 2 get all of their colour back n for the stripes 2 disappear. its mainly caused by being out of their home, (in a bag on way t their new home) and no light.

i sudnt worry abt it, they will fade, its just a case of time, and gud lighting!

she is a beauty though! :D

I am not worried about the blue one's stripes. She returned to her original colors within an hour.

I was curious if I will eve see the stripes on the white one so I wil know when she is ready to breed.

hiya, sorry, i think i read ur post way 2 fast n misunderstood wot u wrote! silly me!

im not sure, mayb wen shes ready 2 breed she will have pinish strips ? similar colour 2 the tips of her tail ?

or she mite get creamie cloloured stripes. its very hard to tell with white females. sorry i cnt help nemore than that!

sometimes the stripes are hard to see on white/cream coloured betta females. one way to tell when she is ready is she will look fuller, her belly will swell more than usual ;)

How old are they when they are usually bred? :dunno:
i would prefer to breed mine no earlier than 6 months of age and no later than 1 year old. this is all a matter of personal opinion though.
