White Dust Like Stuff in Aquarium

Hello.

I have a 20 gallon tank that is currently having an issue. Almost overnight this white dust like stuff appeared and is floating around my tank. Not really sure what it is. In the tank I have sand substrate with 3 kuhli loaches and 4 corydora catfish. Attached is a picture of the stuff. Any help on what this could be would be appreciated. I am relatively new to the hobby and do not want to lose any fish due to a mistake on my end.

How long has your tank been set up for? If your tank is newly set up (within the past few weeks) then it is likely a bacterial bloom. This is very common in newly established tanks. Bacteria multiplies quickly and builds up and become suspended in the water making it appear cloudy. This is perfectly normal and usually goes away by itself as your tank and bacterial types/numbers become established.

On a side note..... Did you Cycle your tank before adding fish? Are you familiar with the Nitrogen Cycle?
