White cloudy water

I have 20 gal tank with Guppies 8 - 10 when I got up this morning my water looks like someone poured milk into it, I understand this is whats called cycling. I checked all my levels etc. all r ok, I did a partial water change about 1/3 and I only feed them once a day. I also have a 55 gal and a 40 gal been having fish tanks for the last 20 years. this is the 1st time this has happened . Do I live it alone...... my fish seem to be ok.... PLEASSSSEEE WHAT DO I DO? How long has the tank been set-up, and what extactly are the water parameters?

Sounds like a bacterial bloom. Sometimes as the filter matures the bacteria go into overdrive and produce free floating bugs. These will gradually disappear as time goes by. Cut down on the feeding to every second day and DON'T PUT FISH IN IMMATURE TANKS!!!!!!
