I already posted this question to the Beginner section; but, I wanted to see if there were any white cloud experts on this board...
I am creating a white cloud species tank - 29 Gallons. I read that these guys like strong current and well oxygenated water. I have a Penguin 200 for the tank, which is rated for up to 50 gallons. But was think about running a Penguin 100 on the other side to create more current. Would that be too much current for the white clouds? I also read that too much current can stress some small fish out. But I don't think that applies to these guys.

I'm thinking if you have one that is rated for a tank that is ~1.75x the size of your tank then that should be enough, however if you're gonna place another then make sure you mimic the natural stream/river environment so that there are eddies in the tank where the fish can get out of the direct current from time to time. I'm not sure that will be so easy with two currents flowing in opposite directions, so either try to place both filters next to each other or arrange the outflows so that they output in the same direction perhaps.

But that is most definately an amateur opinion, hehe. :)
