Hi all
Has anybody bred these fish with success? I am looking for some reasurance that I am doing things right. In the begining I fed the shoal of ten with brine shrimp for a couple of days, the females were nice and plump one day and skinny the next. I took all the adults out assuming they had spawned and a couple of days later I could see what I can only describe as what looked like tiny fibres of wool abot 3mm long at the surface and on the glass, loads of em. Other web sites I have read say they will live off of their yolk sack for a couple of days then start feeding with infusoria. Well a couple of days have passed and now I can only see a few of these little strands that seem to have whats like a neon line through them at the surface.
My question is how long before I should see what resemble little fish? I understand how tiny these are likely to be as I have bred both Leopard and Zebra danios before, their fry were small.
Are these tiny things fry? or should I try again?
