Yesterday I noiced one large white bump on my zebra danio. It is only one one side of the fish. It seems to be coming from it's insides, but I am not sure. I haven't noticed anything until yesterday and I have never seen anything like this before. The danio's under-side seems to also be more red. It seems to be eating and swimming fine. None of the other fish show any signs of the same problem. My long-finned zebra danio has been looking fatter the past couple weeks, but I think its a feeding or pregancy issue.

I tested the water. Nothing seems to be abnormal. I seem to have a constant battle keeping the pH up. Ammoinia is fine. The GH is on the higher side, but nothing abnormal.

Please HELP!

Many things can cause sores on fish such as fights with other fish, scraping on sharp rocks, and small wounds that get infected and grow bigger.
A new small sore can usually be cured the following way

Day one
Do a 20% water change, cleaning the gravel at the same time.
slowly raise the temperature to 82F and add an aquarium salt.

Day two
do another 20% water change, replacing the salt lost

Day three
again do a water 20% change but do not add salt.

Day four
it should be cleared up, however if not then repeat
the steps above until it is cured.

If after seven days there is no improvment, start thinking
of a bacterial or fungal infection, uless of coures the condition
worsens over the treatment period, then think along theses lines sooner.

EDIT
Day four lower the temp to normal.
