White bugs?

There are little white bugs in my tank. I just started the tank and have had it running for about a week and a half. There are some snails in the tank, but I don't think that these are baby snails! I only noticed them when I put the dark background paper on. can anyone tell me what they think this might be? Thanks, Nina By the way just to let everyone know, they are so small you can barely even see them.

Sounds like planaria (flatworms). But you've only had your tank set up for a week and a half and planaria are present when there's too much uneaten food on the bottom.

Do they look like worms and wriggle if they are free floating?
