ok my bf had a 5 foot tank and we managed to sell it and its contents five years ago, he kept his CAE in a 15 gall tank with a group on tetra and a few guppies, never had any problem but im moving the guppies into a 25L tank.. Q is do i keep the CAE in the 15 gall that im adding my bollivian rams too or do i keep him in there with them?

well the CAE must still be failry young, as he ages you'll find him to get much more aggressive towards the other fish, ideally both tanks are too small for him and both the rams and guppies wouldn't be suitable tankmates for him when he is fully grown,

for the time being i would keep him in the larger of the two tanks

Ok yeah but the chinese algae eater is past it maturity its 5-7 years old!!!

maybe i didnt say it correct he used to be very agressive but know hes very rarely bothered about anything he just likes to hang round the tank.....
he has had many many different fish with him but not been fussed!
will keep him in the 15 gall .... he has a cave and others places to hide
