Looking for some kind of plec for a 240L. I want it to eat algae (will suppliment its diet and if there is no more algae ill feed it fully)

Want whatever people suggest to be happy so if i need more than 1 of them then space needs to be a consideration..

Firstly finding the source of the algae and preventing it is better than trying to hide it away, secondly you never supplement a plecs food, you feed a plec how it should be fed if there wasnt any algae at all... the supplemet would be the algae and not the food, if he choses not to eat the algae after been given a proper diet then so be it.

You need to find what algae it is plecs tend to eat certain ones very well but not touch others at all, the obvious algae eater which is most common is a bristlenose but you could get a few pitbulls which tend to eat algae throughout there lifetime whereas BN's CAN get a little lazy with age.

All I want to add is that female bristel nose are so cute not at all ugly.
