Which lighting

I have a Juwel Rio 180 fish tank. At the moment I still have the original lights in the tank with reflectors. The lights have been in the tank for 14 months. I am considering changing the lights and was wondering what lights other people us i.e bright white, blue lights etc....

Which lights do you use, and which ones do think I should try?

there are 2 tubes so I'd go for one blue actinic and one white light such as a triton/power glo etc. this gives a great effect and also gives you the chance to wake your fish up slowly in the morning by putting the blue on first and turning it off last. also, if you leave the blue on after the white, you may see some the fish that don't come out much in the day such as some catfish etc

If you have live plants you may be better going for two plant bulbs etc but I'm not sure whats best when it comes to plants .
