I'm currently planning my nano(ish) reef and am wondering if anybody has advice regarding which lighting to go for.
The two tanks I am deciding between are a
1. Juwel rekord 96 (32" x 12" x 16")
2. Standard 36 x 15 x 15 tank.
Unfortunately, metal halide's for this size tank are out of budget. My two options are
1. Arcadia luminaire (4 x t5 linear lamps, 4x24W in 32" or 4x39W in 36")
2. Installing PC (2x55W)
For a setup that will concentrate mainly on fish only, with some soft corals, which lighting would be best? Obviously the PC has the advantage of price, but am I better off having the overtank luminaire?
