Where can I find resources about fish and what substrates are fine for them.
As my 60l has a gravel bottom.

With gravel, you can keep most upper level fish with no issues.

But can't keep bottom dwellers except perhaps a pleco or similar.

Most other catfish need sand and so do loaches.

Otos are okay with a gravel substrate, so long as it's not a sharp gravel, and they have plenty of plants to sit on.

But they need softer water, so make sure your water GH works for the range of the fish you choose. They also need a school of five - six or more and an established tank, not good for a brand new tank.

I agree with Tez, if the gravel is smooth, it's less of an issue. If the gravel is sharp then avoid bottom dwelling fishes.

Get a few pieces of gravel and see if it is round and smooth or has squared of edges.
Rub some of the gravel across the skin on your forearm/ wrist area. If it scratches you then it's too sharp for fish.

Pleco in a 60l tank ?

I've got two young in a 200 litre with 10 cories.
Bristlenoses or clowns ? When I read pleco I automatically assume common or sailfin lol

Well i've got 2 young bristlenoses and they do fine and since they've been in their i'm seeing light intents in the gravel where they're going to the glass surface.

I love pleco in general they are super easy and very forgiving with mess ups shame they grow so big I would like a Medusa but not sure if my sailfin will kill it or not

I'm not sure myself but the Medusa are nice looking, mine seem to be growing at a fast rate

I'll say this...

I have a 38 gallon with that kid fun colorful pointy sharp stuff in it. I have a pleco in there, 5 oto's, 3 corys, a khuli loach...all are very happy fish. All have been in there for years now.

That being said, maybe I got Wednesday fish....
