Which Fish can go in here?

hello all.

My new tank is now up and running. Its L48" x W12" x H18" - 45 Gallon

now the tank is set up and cycling i am thinking about which fish to put in it? i wanna know which is best so i can go read up on them and see what i need to do/get.

i think it will be a community tank as im a begginer but if there is anything different i can do please let me know. could i have say a begginers cichlid tank?

im open to any suggestion?

From what I hear, chiclids can be sensetive and not the easiest first fish. If I had a tank of that size, I'd get some sailfin mollies, cherry barbs, cories, and some ottos. Perhaps some lyretail swords and serpae tetras, or even rainbows

Platies, are also good fish, if you like that kind of thing, bear in mind they are live bearers so if you mix sexes, you may get fry

I also like Gouramis too, and Angel Fish
