I currently have a 60 gallon planted aquarium and i have a Biowheel 330 on it and a magnum 350 cannister filter on it. The magnum is ok because i can control the flow of the water, but the biowheel is bad for planted aquarium because of how much waterflow there is. So i was thinking of taking off the biowheel and adding another cannister may be, or whatever. I juat wanted some suggestions on what you think i should get. I was looking at the rena xp filters, and i like them, but i want opinions if possible please, thanks!

I posted this the other day, might be of some use - http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=104772

actually i read that post after i posted this. It was extremely helpful. What i am thinking abotu doing is keeping the 350 magnum and putting the micron in it to clarify the water, and then hooking up the gravel vac every once in a while, and then getting the xp3 rena filter, for massive filtering. Anyone think this is a good idea?

also, i have aplanted tank, so i wont be using carbon. GF225 told me to not use it, so i guess if i dont need a big cannister then i wont get one, but what would i put in place of the carbon??? Also i have a HOT Magnum in my closet i can set up!!! Should i hook that one up and put bio rings in it instea do fcarbon or what?
