which filter and media?

I have 240 gallon fresh water aquarium, i was looking at the ratings for 2250 and the 2260. 2250 seems to be cutting it close at 250 gallons (although ive seen different ratings, they were close to this). 2260 seems like a ton of water... also, what media would i use? (be exact, i dont know much on this part). are there any other options?

Anyone? This is becoming urgent. it also has 2 over flows, 4 holes.

I would go with the 2260 unless you plan on keeping angels, discus, or similar fish that require less water flow. Or you could turn down the flow on the 2260 to accomidate those sort of fish.
