Hi Folks,
Over time I've run both Fluval and Interpet 'in-tank' filter pumps, but am going to move to an external filter unit as we've (actually my wife) finally become fed up with the noise the pumps make and the buzzing they induce in my tank lid!!!
I've tried everything to fix this but without luck and so am going to go external.
Currently I have a 64l planted tank that's home to tetras, plattys, harlequins a flying fox and a couple of shrimp.
So, I'm just wondering whether anyone has any advice on which is the best: JBL Cristalprofi 700, Fluval 105 or Eheim (not sure which model).
I'm looking for efficiency, effectiveness and ease of servicing.....I've read a couple of reports about the Fluvals leaking but think this may be solved by going to better quality hose connections.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Fred.
