Which Colour Of Sand Fo My Tank For Barbs/loaches?

Hi, I have a few odessa and checkered barbs and chain dwarf loaches in my tank and white sand. The sand is looking pretty dirty and I'm thinking of either adding more white sand or black sand and I'm not sure which. Which sand do you think wfll suit the tank? I also have plants and bogwood in the tank too.

how about cleaning the sand you have? its the cheaper and easier option
