Hi,
I've recently bought a biorb60, being new to fishkeeping I'd read so many posts about the "innapropriate" size/nature of these that it nearly put me off...... sure a rectangular tank has more `Pros than the BiOrb but the fact is i'm LUVIN mine now it has fish.
I "fishless cycled" and it took about 6 weeks but it's definately worth doing imo. I do think that the biorb60 would really be the only one big enough for most tropicals, add a light stocking and they can look stunning....( I dont have the i-led, just the overhead halogen - 50w. so cant comment about lighting ).
PS mines had fish for 4 weeks, no deaths(thank god), 2 fish are pregnant and all my Ammonia/Nitrites are 0 & more importantly my fish seem healthy.
HAPPY DAYS
