Honestly if any barb is placed in the proper conditions and with enough of them, they are, for the most part, peaceful.. Did you have any specifically in mind? What is the tank size?
I've kept cherry barbs and they are very peaceful. The males are great fun to watch as they sometimes have little scuffles amoungst themselves. No harm is ever done.
I've currently got 5 odessa barbs and they are very active and love their food. Also love thier food.
Pentazona Barbs are extremely peaceful and not renowned for nipping. They are best kept in a shoal of 6 or more as they can be quite shy.
Odessa Barbs are great fish although they prefer lower temperatures than most tropical fish and have been known to nip fins.
You may have to keep an eye on your Colombian Tetras as they are also known to be fin nippers.
As Veil92 pointed out, most nippy fish tend to be better behaved when kept in greater numbers alhough you may still want to avoid adding anything with long fins just to be on the safe side!
