Wheres My Zebra Danio?

Last saturday, I bought four Zebra Danios for my new tank (cycled using pre-matured filters and fluids).
This morning, all four were there, however when I came home from work one is missing!

Wife and kids deny all knowledge of any 'removals', and the other three look happy enough and fed well.

I have a lid on the tank, and have checked in side that, just in case it had leapt. Nothing. I've had the filter apart and it's not been sucked in. i can find no sign of it at all, which is very perplexing.

Anybody have any ideas?

check everywhere, inside the tank outside the tank
check under decor etc.

Found Him

He seemed caught up underneath a plastic plant at the rear of the tank.

I had built the gravel around the base of it quite well. Do danios 'burrow' or is it just an oddity?

I must admit, I feel quite gutted with loosing one of my first fish (or my boys, as I call them). I think the remaining three may require some new friends this weekend, to help cheer them up! (or me, as the case may be )

sorry for your loss
sometimes a danio will try and burrow if it is stressed or if you are trying to catch it in a net
