Where's Everyone Gone

Still here :)

Shelagh is a wee bit niggled with this place (Im being polite) but I hope she will return soon, as its not the same with her :(

Come back Shelagh all is forgiven babe

Kinda wondering where Mark(andhisfish) is though, unlike him to stay away for so long :(

Well if they are all off sunning themselves together, I wanna know where my invite was!!

This may just be me but ive noticed the forums are a lot slower, i dont mean page loading speed :)P) but as in people don't seem to be posting as much...

I highly doubt the people on this forum have run out of fish related stuff to talk about...

Nah, i reckon the idea that theyre all on holiday is most likely... Maybe theyll be back next week.

Everyone needs to take a break once in a while and summer is traditionally a slow time for the fishkeeping hobby. My aquarium society doesn't even meet in July and August. Once fall rolls around again things start getting back to normal.

On the other hand, the spammers don't seem to need a vacation. :shifty: The mods have been busy keeping them away.

The aquatic hobby in general, and forums in particular slow down during the warmer months. Folks would rather be lying in the sun with a cool drink than inside on the computer, or messing with fish tanks.

Enjoy the nice weather while you can, grab a cold one & work on that tan! :good:

Nice weather? Im in the UK

To be fair its been ok today but i still have split shifts to work which leaves a gap in between at some point in my day which isnt really long enough to do anything useful...

I'm still here! I'm from '06 I believe! That sucks, being in the UK. It's 80 degree's out here. AND the sun isnt even really shinnin yet!( its 1 o'clock)

Well it sure beats shoveling snow, chiseling ice off the car, falling on your face on the ice, getting stuck in the snow, on & on. Lucky fish get a really sweet climate controlled existence, food delivered right to them, constant care & attention, like a life long vacation. All this while we tromp through the bitter weather to get a can of flake for them.

We've earned it, go outside & play!
