Where Would I Find A Tank?

im after a tank of this size 48x14x18 whi can be delivered, i cannot drive.....i dont know anyone with a van but really want this sort of sized tank, i know it is made but i dont know who by nor who would be able to get one, the lfs near me is rubbish when it comes to getting tanks in...so i though id ask on here thanks!

well the most common size is 12 inches front to back

could go for a custom made tank.

not as expensive as people first think. i got my marine tank with 4 holes drilled (29 inch long x 14 inch wide x 16 inch deep) including hood and bottom trim, made out of 8mm glass (normally 6mm but needed thicker due to amount of holes in the back)

with a sump measuring 30x15x16 inch (LxWxD)

in total it cost me £160. When you think its £5 per hole and about £10 for a weir (wont need either of these in a tropical tank) its a very good price.

delivery varies on the travel/distance but you should be able to find a tank company nearish you. I used ND Aquatics and carnt fault the tank at all.

that does seem a very good price however

i only paid 250 for my 9ftx3ftx32inch tank with 9 holes and a wier

so if you do search around long enough youll find a great deal
