Where To Start ?

well ive got my tank set up with freshwater at the mo. but i want to go saltwater ( i only set the tank up today...so theres nothing in it but gravel, water and a the filtration system ( fluval 150 external ), oh and a heater. i really have NO idea how saltwater works. so any help is amazing. What do i need ? how does it work . I know i need salt. BUT do i need salt to start it then i have to keep adding salt ? do i need different heater ? filtration system etc etc. i am a total beginer to saltwater having only run a fresh tank before. i want to have fish with live rock and coral.

Go the the marine and reef chit chat sections....click on the realm of knowledge link...scroll down and find my post....those books are EXCELLENT starter books (except for the coral book which is for afterward). Good luck. Read , read, read. SH
