Where To Put The Divider.....?

i searched up pictures of half moon bettas, I CAN NOT resist any longer. im going to a fish store called "the wet spot" i think, as soon as I get the chance.
 
I have 2 10g tanks.both have room for a betta.one has small fish that I figured out were nipping my other betta,so l put him in with my 2 guppies.now l have a divider that will fit in either tank, but which one?
 
also,are there any special care requirements for half moons?

Maybe you could move the guppies with the small fish, as long as they are compatible and the tank wont be overstocked, and then pout the divider in the other tank and use that for bettas.
 
Halfmoons arent super hard to take care of, but if you get a dumbo halfmoon I dont think it should be super strong filtration, and make sure they can go around plants without touching their fins!
