starting a new tank, and just bought 200lbs of uncured rock. i would like to know where everyone is buying there salt? i dont mind paying for good salt once i have fish, but just want some cheap salt, to use since i will be doing tons of water changes for the next month.

also what is the best salt to use? ive always used reef crystals. is there another salt i should consider?

also need about 120lbs of argonite sand. is there a site anyone knows of that is fair priced? just dont want to get screwed over paying at petsmart..

if it matters its a 110gallon tank and will home 2-3 triggers

You could try amazone, I seen as really cheap brand on there, it was £6.99 for a bucket the size of the red sea salt I buy which is about £50, I have absolutly no idea as to it's quality. I did have a link to it on my site (below), I will just check for you.

Yes it's on there in the hardware section but it's not the £6.99 stuff, it's about £14, check it out, still very cheap.

20KG bucket of Seachem Reef Salt is £35+ £7 shipping on eBay. That mixes up to 600L of saltwater.

Hope you have got a peg for your nose, boy does uncured live rock pong

Start running carbon as soon as you put the rock in the tank - it will help
