Where Is The Jack?

I was thinking of adopting a 7" jack Dempsey I have always liked them but always thought they were too common. Now that I think about it I don't see many jack Dempsey at pet stores much. They use to be everywhere you could not go in a fish store with out see them. Now I hardly see them and it makes me want them.

Is it just me or are these fish just not popular any more?
