Where Has The Water Gone

I filled my 33 Gallon tank up last night to the top of the marker and everything was fine. Switched everything on and when I got up this morning about 10 percent of the water was gone. No sign of leaks which would be doubtful anyway as its brand new. Bit weird but can anyone explain?

Do you have an external filter?It would be holding a bit of water.....maybe not that much.

Thats a LOT of water to "escape" ! Unless you live in the tropics - I would take a long hard look aroound for leaks.... even though your gear is new, thats NO guarantee

I doubt that much has evaporated...

have u got a non-return Valves on your air line first time i set up a fish tank i didnt have one on the air line and when i got up the air line come off the air pump water every where cld be that if u not got one on if u have then its something ??
