Where Do You Get Shrimp From?

Just as the title says really. I'm looking for some shrimp for my tank. Ideally looking for Amano Shrimp as they seem the most popular choice but i can't find anywhere that sells them..

Do you know a site that sells them???

Please let me know!

I think they have them on liveaquaria although they might not call them "amano shrimp"

If there is a Maidenhead Aquatics near you they normally stock them...

I've never bought any shrimp online so can't recommend one shop over any other.

Maybe i should have added that i'm on the UK, so US sites are no good!

there are many place to get shrimp, depends on where u live in the UK. However, i do think amano is the everywhere. every shop i went, as long as they sell shirmp, they will have it

In the Farnham Maidenhead Aquatics they are called Japonica Shrimp and at guildford they are labeled as Yamato, seems that not many people call them Amano's.

Ideal. Maidenhead Aquatics is but 7 miles from me!! Guess where i'm going tomorrow morning!

Will they be ok with Bamboo Shrimp, i have two.

Amanos are peacful, and can go with pretty much anything. The Bamboos may get a little territorial if they get too close, but can't do any damage, so yes, they will be fine.

Popped to Maidenhead Aquatics today. Picked up 20 Jalpenuo (or something like that!!) shrimp for £20.

They seem to be enjoying the tank as they haven't stopped eating yet!!!
