My 3 year old has just asked me the conversation went.
Little one "mummy where do stars go at night?"
me "no where, you just cannot see them when the sun is shining"
Little one "Why"
Me "Because the sun is so bright you cannot see the stars"
Litte one "why can I see them at night then"
Me "Because the sun is shining on the other side of the world so we can see the stars"
Little one "oh, well what are stars made of?"
Me "Stars are really suns, very far far away"
He ponders for a moment then says "Your silly mummy stars arnt round like the sun!"
