So Craig's list has a plethora of scratched acrylic tanks available here .. most super cheep, some excitingly creative. most in need of repair.
so... I've read the 300-600-800-1000-PIE numbers .
i get the work ..so... have you done this?
can you tell me the proper finisher?

A sticky towards tank Restoration is seriously lacking on this forum...
This is our pets world and also deserves a sub forum in hardware "Tank preservation / restoration"

Just a rant
thank you for listening

I'm not sure a subforum for tank repair is necessary as this forum doesn't move very quickly.

You can always just ask any questions here if you have them.

Please excuse my rant, I was frustrated.
I have made allot of progress and have photographed and journaled the progress.
Sore wrists and all I think it will be a huge success.

There are no short cuts to this that i have found though.. good results = hard work

The rant is no big deal. If we can have a good thread for any particular subject, not a single topic post, we will serve our members better.

Where are your details tmiller? Are you documenting something worth pinning here? Let's see it if it is pin-worthy. Lots of pictures with good descriptions of your thought process along the way would probably be best for a pin. I am ready to do that if you can put it together.

The project got put on hold for a week or two due to some personal issues.
