I recently found out that my mollies had babies, but the sad thing wuz , i only found one :/ , looks like my fish had a fish fry :-( But I Finally Found 1 baby, it is about 10 millimeters :D It is So cute! anyways, i am wondering since, i hve molllies, that i should get a breeding tank, problem is..... i have like a 5 gallon tank. Will a breeding net/tank, fit in my tank? also, will tetra eat babie mollies? Please help me! :-(

I don't think they eat babies. And you can buy good breeding stuff from petco/petsmart. I don't think walmart does. I don't have much experience but just knowledge so i have no clue if it will fit.

I had three fry living in a one gallon from Wal Mart once, had a UGF, hood, light, air pump/tube/stone, also came with a plant for about $10.00 (US). A breeding net would probably fit in your tank but as your tank is small it would probably take up a lot of space and be a bit undesirable.

Wal-Mart does have breeding nets. That is what I have in my ten gallon.

Is your tank rectangle/square shaped, or is it a hexagon? If it is a hexagon, I doubt that the net from Wal-Mart would fit. If it is rectangle/square, what are the dimentions? Like what is the width, length, and height?

I would get another 5g rectangle tank to raise your babies in. Please do not buy from Petco unless its your only option.

Get yourself a bigger tank for your community and use your curretn community tank as your breeding tank!

If you're looking for a large inexpensive tank, maybe you could try the "for sale" section in your local newspaper, garage sales or even thrift stores. I see huge aquariums for sale all of the time at a fraction of the price that you'd pay for a brand new one. I'd like to get one when I move into my new apartment.
