I'm looking two new Juwel light units for the trigon 350. I'm sick of repairing the ballast's and want to upgrade from the T8's to the T5's anyway.
I know they're not cheap but I'm thinking of a wee change around in regards to stocking and moving my severum into other tanks and making it a planted tank.

Any information is greatly received.

Thanks.

iv got lighting coming in the post from

not sure if any would be suitable for your tank... if not try ebay?

I had exactly the same problem with mt Jewel some years back, and it was a right royal pain fixing that integrated hood/light unit. I chucked it in the end and went open top with a supported twin T8 unit, and it was so much neater. I can't remember the exact light unit I bought, but there are dozens of designs available. Just like Mike4 lots of 5s has suggested.

here's a good price...

The Juwel T5's light ballast for the trigon are very good IMO.

Thanks for the links and information.

Will check them out later on tonight as I'm heading off to Donegal for the day now.

I could be too late now... and im not sure how it would work out with the trigon... but i have just replaced my juwel t5 lights with a 4 tube t5 luminaire for the same price as an extra juwel unit.
