When To Purchase Corys?

I am in no rush to get them, I would just like a bit of friendly advice.

As you know I have been setting up and part-cycling my fluval 1000 duo deep for the last 8-10 days or so, and would just like to know when I can introduce the spawning group of corys I am going to buy? I cycled the tank with no fish for 5 days, and then I added the old filter into the tank to produce an 'immediate' cycle so to speak. All fish have been fine and active, so everything is healthy and in working order.

But how long should I leave the corys till? As I said I am in no rush to make the purchase, I would just like a rough guide for when it would be safe to introduce them to the community.

Wait until you have removed your old filter and eveything is still running ok. Which ones are you getting

C.Aenues of course. I have been reading up alot on them, and have had various advice from different places. I am looking forward to getting everything sorted and conditioning them, but that most probably won't be until after christmas.
