when do I add the 2nd lot of fish

My tank has just finished cycling and is holding stable with 3 x wagtail platies and I think I am about ready to add the next batch of fish. I am looking to add a small school of rasboras but the ones I have seen are so............. small and my platies look so.......... big. Will it be safe to add them or will the platies think they've been given xmas lunch early?

The other fish I am looking to get are a small shoal of cories and a couple of gourami's (or kribs)

That should be ok provided the rasboras aren't less than half the platies' size. They also are quite quick and should be able to hold their own for a while till the platies get used to them and they grow bigger.
