When Best To Feed New Fish?

when do you think its best to feed new fish when introduced to new tank??
ive always waited 24hrs but some say 48hrs.although i feed after 24hrs i always feed lightly tho.

Personally, I always "test the water" by giving them literally a few grains of Tetra Prima while drip acclimitising in the bucket. If they readily eat them, I give them a few more in the bucket and a few more once I have netted them into the tank. If the bucket ones are left uneaten, I leave them for a day, but more often than not new fish have gobbled up what I have offered.
