That looks like a hatchet fish at quick glance but NO! That looks like a danio thats a ticking time bomb! I've never seen a fish's stomach expanded that much!

Maybe @Colin_T, @Byron, or @Slaphppy7 can help... I have no idea what could make that happen... Maybe a severe case of dropsy??

if you look at the other fish it looks rather large as well but it could be a reflection.

I didn't notice that one! But still,that main one looks like its gonna blow up... I don't see it getting better tbh... It looks really really bad

I knew it had to be a zebra danio! Now it can't be pregnant because its just too bloated... What about dropsy? Or is it even a bit much for that? Could it have something to do with its organs or intestines?

I wouldn't bet on dropsy. the pic isn't very clear but doesn't show pineconing.
